Behind Closed Drawers – Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all stall bookings for Behind Closed Drawers (BCD) events. By submitting an application, accepting a stall, or attending the event, stallholders agree to the following.

BCD reserves the right to update the Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.
Any changes will be published on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of those changes.


1.Payment Requirements

  • Successful applicants will receive (via email) a stall offer with a payment link to confirm their booking. Payment must be made within five (5) days of receiving you stall offer.

  • If payment is not received within this time, your stall reservation will be forfeited and will be reallocated without further notice.


2. Stallholder Cancellations

  • All Stall Fees are non-refundable.

  • Stallholders who cancel two (2) or more weeks prior to the event date may request to transfer their booking to another available market date. Transfers:

    • may only occur once;

    • are subject to BCD approval; and

    • incur a $15 administrative fee.

  • Payment of the administrative fee must be paid withing two (2) days of transfer confirmation.

  • Cancellations made within two (2) weeks of the event date are not eligible for transfer.

  • Stall bookings must not be transferred, sublet, or sold to any other person without prior written approval from BCD.

  • Stallholders found to be in breach of any Terms and Conditions may have their booking cancelled, and any Stall Fees paid will be retained by BCD.


3. Event Cancellation by BCD

  • BCD reserves the right to cancel an event, including up to twelve (12) hours prior to its scheduled start time.

  • Stallholders will be notified of any cancellation using the contact details supplied to BCD and/or through a notice posted on the BCD Facebook page.

  • Where BCD cancels an event for reasons not related to severe weather or force majeure, stallholders may choose either:

    • a full refund of their Stall Fee; or

    • a transfer of their booking to a future market date at no cost.

  • Event cancellation may occur for reasons including, but not limited to:

    • insufficient stall numbers;

    • safety concerns, such as severe weather warnings or other force majeure circumstances.

  • If an event is cancelled due to safety or force majeure reasons, stallholders are entitled to a 50% refund of their Stall Fee.


4. Event Cancellation Due to Pandemic Restrictions

  • If BCD cancels an event due to government-imposed restrictions related to a pandemic, stallholders will be notified as early as practicable.

  • Where cancellation occurs more than four (4) weeks prior to the event date, stallholders will be eligible for:

    • a full refund, or

    • a transfer to a future available market date at no cost.

  • Where cancellation occurs less than four (4) weeks prior to the event date, stallholders will be entitled to a 50% refund of the Stall Fee.
